River Valley Concerts

The River Valley schools held their Spring Concerts in March, one concert by the Middle School and the other, a Swing Show, by River Valley Junior High and High School students.
The Fifth and Sixth Grade Choir dedicated the song "For Good" to Elementary School Principal Deb Bagenstos, who is retiring at the end of the school year. Elementary Music Director Pam Fredricksen directs the choir.
The High School Choir performed the classic Journey hit 'Don't Stop Believin'.'
The River Valley Fifth Grade Band, under the direction of Eric Flynn, performed the song 'London Bridges.'
RV Sextet -
The River Valley Choir Sextet- left to right, Zoe Linn, Kim Niehaus, Brianna Eades, Katie Reinking, Emilee Droegmiller and Jasmine Smith sang 'Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend' from the classic Marilyn Monroe film 'Gentlemen Prefer Blondes.'
River Valley Quartet -
Members of the River Valley Quartet sang the Beyonce hit 'If I Were A Boy' at the River Valley Swing Show. Pictured, left to right, are, Kennedy Zahnley, Tonya Redenius, Jordain Volkert, and Bailey Fitch.

RV High School and Jr. High Jazz Bands -
Members of the River Valley High School and Junior High Jazz Bands performed many wonderful hits at the River Valley Swing Show. The bands played such classics as 'You've Got A Friend In Me,' 'I'll Be There,' and a John Williams Medley featuring music from 'Star Wars,' 'Jurassic Park,' and 'ET.' Instrumental Direction was by Eric Flynn and Vocal Direction by Wendall Brown. The swing choir was accompanied by Wren Smith.
Junior High Band -
The River Valley Junior High Band, under the direction of Eric Flynn, performs the song 'Minor Rock.'
