100 Days of School

Area schools celebrated their 100th day school. Teachers in area classrooms found as many ways to celebrate the day as there were days completed.

Kindergarten students in Amy Wood's class at Roosevelt Elementary enjoyed the hunt for 100 chocolate candy kisses hidden in their classroom. Each one had a number written on the bottom which they had to match to the chart. Wonder how many were missing from the chart?

Kindergarten students in Pam Wilson's class at Roosevelt Elementary are working hard on their math as they practice counting to 100 by fives during the 100th day of school last Friday.

Kindergarten studens in Kay Ogren's class at Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn celebrated their 100th day of school, Monday, by first going on a field trip to the bank where each student cashed in 100 pennies for the new $1 gold coin. They enjoyed many other activities throughout the day, all centered around the number 100.
