2006 Cherokee Jazz & Blues Festival
The city of Cherokee celebrates their annual Jazz & Blues Festival each in January. The 2006 festival was a huge success as always.
New Yorkers Glenn Alexander (guitar) and Mark Pender, right, paid rapt attention to the outstanding guitar solo licks of former Cherokean Eric Klotz, left, at Saturday's Cherokee Jazz & Blues Festival Jam Session. Shakin' their booties in the middle are Jim Davis of the Cherokee Jam Band and saxophonist Vicki Alexander, a former Cherokean from Detroit, Mich. Davis hosted the popular Jam Session at the Gathering Place in downtown Cherokee.
