Winning first place in the Non-Profit Category at this year's Wonderful World of Christmas Parade was the Cherokee Community School District, with their 'I'll Be Home For Christmas' float, featuring area soldiers Steve Kremer and Tom Kohn.

Members of the Boy Scouts of America Troop 199 were busy handing out treats to the crowd on Thursday during the Wonderful World of Christmas Parade held in downtown Cherokee.

A good-sized crowd exchanged Season's greetings with each other at the December 7th Chamber Coffee at R.J. Thomas Manufacturing.

The Cavaliers 4-H Club won 3rd place in the non profit division at the 2012 Cherokee Christmas Parade. Representing the club at Friday's award ceremony were Katie Cedar (left) and Paige Kraft.

Northside Tire took 2nd place in the Business Division at this year's Lighted Christmas Parade, and Amanda Korleski accepted their plaque at Friday's awards ceremony.
