Everyone say peace -
The front row of MMC second and third graders were dressed to represent various countries promoting the need for peace during the evening's program.
They're making music -
The opening tune was belted out by all of the MMC students in grades three through sixth as they set the tone for the evening. A large crowd of parents and grandparents was on hand to show appreciation of the program.
Music. music, music -
The four students in front demonstrated playing various instruments while the other students sang in unison. From the left with instruments were Derek Erdman, Brooklyn Treinen, Tanya Jones and Trey Hoefling.
Kicking up their heels -
The MMC sixth graders sang "Moving to the Beat" while moving their feet and hands. Each wore a hat for a cool look.
Tambourine kids -
The Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn students enjoy the tambourines as they get into the rhythm of the tune during the evening's performance for the spring concert under the direction of Joan Wilberding.
MMC 5th grade band -
These students started learning to play an instrument about six months ago and for a short period of time, they demonstrated how much learning one can acquire under the tutorship of David Moore.
MMC sixth grade band -
These dozen students demonstrated the power of a second year in the instrumental program under David Moore who encouraged parents to in turn support their child's efforts in the program. They played "Rockin' Rondeau."
