Engineering Fun - Girls take turn filling buckets with water and playing in the sand at the Bacon Aquatic Center. The warm weather has drawn a crowd the last week with kids looking to cool down from the summer sun.

Water slide fun - Kids of all ages enjoy the sprinklers, slide, hoses and more on the water equipment at the Bacon Aquatic Center.

Keeping kids safe - Lanette Peterson, manager at the Bacon Aquatic Center, tests the pool water for different chemical levels to make sure it is safe for kids to swim. A crowd of curious kids stop their swimming to watch Peterson at work.

Sweet treats - Skyler Robinson, 4, enjoys a fudge bar from the concession stand on his way out of the swimming pool. The concession stand provides a variety of ice cream, candy, food and drink during pool hours.

Slip n' slide - Youngsters enjoy the slide and sprinklers at the pool ,while mothers watch their little ones off to the side on the patio. The pool provides a number of umbrellas to provide swimmers with protection from the hot sun, but they can still enjoy the cool water.

Shower time - Kids can stand in the water and take a shower or on top of water spraying from the sides of the pool to cool off. Bacon Aquatic Center is the place to be for water fun this summer.
