4th Graders decorate CRMC trees with homemade Christmas ornaments
Recently Susan Jensen's 4th grade art students from Roosevelt Elementary School delivered several Christmas tree decorations from the Kindergarten, First, Second, Third and Fourth grade art classes to the Cherokee Regional Medical Center. The students hung ornaments on the trees located in both the ER/Admitting and Cherokee Regional Clinic waiting areas,as well as on the second and third floor stairwell landings. The themes for the decorations included the medical field, healthy living, and using recycled materials. The art class project was started six weeks ago, and produced over 300 ornaments. The public can view the wonderful little creations until 8:30 p.m. nightly, except for the CRC tree, which will only be open for viewing during clinic business hours.
