Vintage Home
Preserving a vintage home - For anyone who relishes the opportunity to see antiques, appreciates the beauty in having a room pop out at you with antiques situated just so taking you back in time, then the Bill and Janette Woodall home in Marcus is a perfect place to visit. To say it was a treat is putting it mildly. The home was purchased from the Gund estate back in 1967 by Bill and Lorraine Woodall. They owned it for 42 years until their son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Janette Woodall took over ownership this past year. In that time, the couple has been restoring much of the home, working diligently with a few rooms to complete in the upper level. Each room is carefully thought out developing a color scheme and purchasing items to tastefully furnish the rooms. The couple has great taste blending vintage furniture with new furnishings reminding one of the Victorian era. The outside of the home gives a hint to the observer what the home has for structural treats. The Woodalls plan on enhancing the outside of the home in the near future as they are developing their plan. It should be great fun to watch the home undergo a metamorphosis ...
