Sutherland held its annual Labor Day celebration over the weekend of September 4 -6. Several events were scheduled, and are pictured in this gallery.
Sutherland Burnout -
The Annual Sutherland Burnout Rally was held on Sunday in downtown Sutherland, part of the Labor Day Weekend festivities. Pictured is one contestant who wowed the crowd with his burnout that produced a thick layer of red smoke.
Crowd pleaser -
Another crowd favorite at last weekend's Sutherland Burnout Rally in Sutherland was this classic Cadillac Hearse. The driver produces a massive cloud of smoke during this run

Let 'er rip -
Of all the runs at the Sutherland Burnout Rally in Sutherland on Sunday, this Monte Carlo produced on of the greatest runs. After the driver completed his run, he had to stop for a couple of minutes to let the smoke clear out of the cab of the vehicle.
Sutherland Labor Day Parade
On Monday, the Sutherland Labor Day Parade was held, to the delight of the children who attended the parade and were busy collecting candy thrown from passing parade floats. Pictured are members of the South O'Brien Football Team as they ride atop fire trucks.

The T & C Saddle Club of Sutherland were riding high in the saddle during Monday's Sutherland Labor Day Parade.

A miniature Statue of Liberty was one of the many floats that were part of the Sutherland Labor Day Parade on Monday.

Members of the American Legion Post #152 were front and center during the Sutherland Labor Day Parade on Monday.

The Eenwieler Unicyclist's Club of Orange City once again participated in this year's Sutherland Labor Day Parade, to the delight of those in attendance.
