Ralph S. Hartwig, 85, of Cherokee died Sunday, Aug. 20, 2006, at 12:40 p.m. in the Cherokee Regional Medical Center. Memorial services will be held Tuesday, Aug. 22 at 2 p.m. at the Boothby Funeral Home in Cherokee. Pastor Gary Swick will officiate. There will be military rites at the funeral home on Tuesday immediately following the memorial service. Hartwig's remains were cremated. There will be no visitation.
