Winetta Smith, 94, of Le Mars, died on Thursday, Dec. 7, 2006 at the Good Samaritan Village in Le Mars. A Celebration of Life Service is at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 11, 2006 at the Presbyterian United Church of Christ in Le Mars. Rev. Drew Tomberlin will officiate. Burial is at 2:30 p.m. at the Rosehill Cemetery in Parker, S.D. Visitation began at 9 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 11 at the church . Time is running out to purchase a brick in the "Wall of Pride" at the recently constructed Cleghorn Community Center. The deadline to buy a brick ,for $250, and have it engraved with a message of your choosing ,is December 30.
