The Community Center in my home town of Aurelia was built in 1927, the year that Babe Ruth hit 60 home runs for the "Murderer's Row" Yankees. Over the ensuing 80 years, the (now) old building has witnessed thousands of people enjoying the camaraderie of friends and family; holding meetings; listening and/or dancing to music of different genres and eras; and celebrating new marriages, anniversaries, or other happy occasions.
