Magnificent melons (10/08/07)
A patch of watermelons at the Quimby home of Douglas and Virginia Kohn had a simple beginning. Two seeds spit out by their young neighbor, McKenzie Meyer, took root and the resulting vines sprawled across the yard. Virginia said the vines produced 25 to 30 melons and they were delicious.
