STILLWATER, Okla. -- Tom Royer is always a bit "bugged," and Oklahoma State University has rewarded the son of Cherokee residents Don and Dorothy Royer by promoting him to the rank of professor in the department of entomology and plant pathology. A 1972 graduate of Cherokee Washington High School, Royer serves all of Oklahoma as Integrated Pest Management program coordinator for OSU's Division of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources. ...
