Margaret Enneking Petersen, 91, of Cherokee, formerly of Marcus, died Sunday Dec. 14, 2008 in Countryside Estates, Cherokee, following a lengthy illness. Linda S. (Slota) Hembree, 61, of Broken Arrow, Okla., formerly of Washta, went home to her Lord and Savior on Nov. 19, 2008 after a short bout with cancer. Linda has donated her earthly body for cancer research.
