VFW Auxiliary Easter Egg Hunt April 11 (04/03/09)
The annual Easter Egg Hunt, sponsored by the local VFW Auxiliary, will take place this year on the day before Easter - Saturday, April 11 - at Koser/Spring Lake Park in Cherokee. Harold Medick, 54, of Cleghorn, died Wednesday April 1, 2009 at his home following a sudden illness. Funeral services were held today at 10:30 a.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Cherokee. Rev. LeRoy Reimer officiated. Burial was in the Cherokee Memory Gardens in Cherokee. Visitation was held on Thursday from 1:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. with the family present from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Greenwood Funeral Home in Cherokee.
