Odyssey of the Mind (04/27/09)
MARCUS - Five Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn middle school students appeared in front of the MMC School Board to explain what they have been doing with their time together under the guidance of Middle School counselor Ali Vasher. The students had recently competed at the state level on March 26 to win a second place. That was good enough for them to go on to compete at a world level. Students from many other countries will compete against each other at the finals in Ames from May 27-31...

STORM LAKE - The Cherokee Braves golf team nicked host Storm Lake by one stroke to win a boys golf triangular on the Lake Creek Golf Course here last week.
