Accident takes life of Cherokee woman (05/13/09)

Recently, River Valley fourth grade student Austen Wilcox carted his most recent project to school for show and tell...Well, sort of...Actually the project brought itself. It was Austen's bucket calf, a subject that caused quite a stir with the RV Elementary students like these Transitional Kindergarten tykes. I haven't done any serious research on the matter, but I expect high school sports records come and go at varying rates over the years. Still, I do believe that one standing for a whole generation is something of a rarity. That situation just occurred here in Marcus.
