Faith Specht, on the left, and Mary Peterson enjoyed selecting teapots, which will be on display Saturday at a tea gathering hosted by the Marcus Historical Society, 1:30 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. today at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Cherokee, with Rev. Armand Bertrand officiating. Burial was in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Aurelia. This matter is only exacerbated when an area school's team or teams are excelling at the time, while others are winning few and far between.
