Cherokee Swim Team finishes season on a roll (High School Sports ~ 07/23/09)
The Cherokee Swim Team ended their home season on Wednesday, July 15, with a meet against a small contingent from Humboldt and Fort Dodge. Wellness Center to re-open pool soon (Local News ~ 07/23/09)
On July 6, the Cherokee Regional Medical Center's Wellness Center began draining their pool for routine maintenance and also to replace the grates over the drains on the bottom of the pool. The grates had to be replaced due to a federal mandate that requires pools of a certain age to have the covers replaced.
