Bake Sale in Quimby

The Pilgrim Lutheran Ladies will hold a bake sale on Saturday, Nov. 21, at the Quimby Community Center from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. There will be Christmas cookies trays, baked good, craft items and a white elephant table. Coffee will be available.

Marcus Council hears updates

MARCUS - Vangie Cowan, representing Marcus for Progress, informed the Marcus City Council last week about the Marcus web site which was established back in June 2002 by Rod Ogren through WesTel Systems as a service to the city of Marcus for providing service to the town for the Progress program. Each year the contract is automatically renewed and Marcus for Progress has paid the fees. According to Cowan, donated money from WesTel for updates has been depleted...
