However, this warm humanitarianism is too often taken advantage of by outright scams that pocket charitable donations, or by professional fund-raisers that devour as much as 80-90 percent of the donations in "fund-raising expenses."...

The other day I read in the paper about a 17 year old boy and a 13 year old girl caught having sex at 2:45 a.m. The article was drawing attention to this incident as whether it is an occurrence more of late or one that has been going on for years. I laid in bed thinking about this situation and wondered what was going wrong for things like this to happen and decided that one can not pin-point one incident...

The Northwest Conference has released the Girls Basketball All-Conference teams recently selected by conference coaches. Two Aurelia Bulldog juniors, Meghan Glawe and Audrey Winterhof, received votes for the honor. Glawe, the Bulldogs' leading scorer and rebounder, who recorded nine "double-doubles" this season, was named to the Second Team All-Conference, while Winterhof received Honorable Mention honors... -
