Supervisors to amend budget (04/09/10)
At thie meeting on Tuesday, the Cherokee County Board of Supervisors set April 27 at 9:05 a.m. to hold a public meeting to approve a proposed budget amendment for the 2009/2010 budget. The proposed budget amendment is to allocate $51,000 for the Cherokee County Sheriff's Department. Of that $51,000, $31,000 is slated to pay for state mandated upgrades to the county jail, including the installment of smoke and fire detection units that were recently installed...
