CRMC Recognizes scholarship (05/19/10)
Every spring, Cherokee Regional Medical Center and the Cherokee Regional Medical Center Auxiliary each give two scholarships to area high school seniors who are interested in a career in health care. Cherokee Washington alum Kara Nelson, now a junior at Morningside College, won the women's 1500 meter race at the Sioux Falls Last Chance track and field meet at Sioux Falls on Saturday May 15. SIOUX CITY - Morningside College's Jenny Bowen, a past graduate of Aurelia High School, was recently named to the 2010 All-Great Plains Athletic Conference Golf Team, as selected by the league's head coaches.
