Flags at Oak Hill lighted Memorial Day weekend (05/26/10)
On Friday, May 28 the Cherokee VFW L.A. Wescott Post #2253 will be once again be putting up flags at the Cherokee Oak Hill Cemetery. In the past the VFW has put the flags up in the morning and took them down in the evening. This year they will be putting the flags up about 1 p.m. on Friday and that evening the flags will be illuminated with lights that were donated by Christensen Brothers and will be on display during the entire Memorial Day weekend...
