Veterans Appreciation Day in Cherokee this weekend (08/11/10)
Cherokee County Veteran Affairs Director Dana Evans has continued to make plans for the fifth annual Cherokee County Veterans Appreciation Day to be held on Saturday at the Cherokee County Fairgrounds from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. This year's theme will be "Tomb of the Unknown Soldier." Blood donors reach milestone (08/11/10)
A blood drive was held on July 27 in the Cherokee Community Center for the Siouxland Community Blood Bank. There were 46 donors registered and 48 units of blood were collected.
