Court rules insurer not liable in fatal Sutherland accident (09/13/10)
SUTHERLAND - The Iowa Court of Appeals has ruled that the City of Sutherland's insurance company is not liable to pay damages to two people having sex in the back seat of its former police chief's pickup when it ran off the road and crashed. Disaster Recovery Center opens in Cherokee County (09/13/10)
A federal/state Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) in Cherokee County opened Thursday to assist individuals, households and businesses affected by Iowa's recent storms and flooding. The DRC is located at 530 W. Bluff St. at the upper level of the Cherokee Community Center.
