Greenwood-Schubert opens in Marcus (10/20/10)
MARCUS - After much planning and work, the day finally arrived to open at a second location for the Greenwood-Schubert Funeral Home of Cherokee. Matt and Julie Schubert began their plans to add a second location for their business this past spring in the Marcus Business Park. An open house for the public will be held this Sunday from 1-4 p.m. at the new funeral home. Water shut down Thursday in Cherokee (10/20/10)
The City of Cherokee has announced that workers will be replacing two valves at Sumner Street and Bailey Court, and a fire hydrant at Sumner and Saratoga streets on Thursday.
