Workers from Schoon Construction in Cherokee have been busy this week with the rail line removal project in Cherokee involving the abandoned CN Railroad line from West Cherry Street to the north side of the Iowa Highway 3 By-Pass. Storm Lake swimmers 10th (11/04/10)
FORT DODGE - The Storm Lake High School swim team placed 10th at the Regional Tournament here on Saturday, scoring 62 points. Storm Lake's highlight of the day was probably the 400 Free Relay, where the team of Madison Cerizo, Alex Larson, Casey Larson, and Lindsay Hall cut 10 seconds off their previous best time, and placed sixth against some very good competition.
