American Red Cross provides many services (11/08/10)
A group of 15-20 local community and business leaders were treated to a light lunch and some useful information over the noon hour on Thursday, courtesy of the Siouxland Area Chapter of the American Red Cross. Chapter Executive Director Tammy Lee, Funding Director Bob Kirschbaum, and Cindy Voss, Red Cross advocate for Military Families, presented an informative hour on the total services provided by the Red Cross, including Disaster Services, Health and Safety Services, Volunteer Services, Services to the Armed Forces and Youth and Aquatic Services.. ...
Masons help CADS in time of need (11/08/10)
Cherokee County Work Services (CCWS) established Cherokee Adult Day Services (CADS) in1996. This program was developed to provide day services to disabled individuals whose needs were not being met by the vocational setting of CCWS. This program can also assist families who care for loved ones at home. CADS can offer a break in the day for the caretakers. They can feel confident their loved one is being well-cared for.
