Jazz & Blues Festival welcomes Mary Bridget Davies (12/13/10)
Appearing for the first time at the Cherokee Jazz and Blues Festival will be Mary Bridget Davies. Memorial Presbyterian Church to host annual Advent Tryst (12/13/10)
The Cherokee Memorial Presbyterian Church will be holding its annual Advent Tryst on Dec. 15 at 9:30 a.m. The event is co-hosted by St. Paul United Methodist Church. Cherokee County Engineer Dave Shanahan announced on Thursday that the L-56 (River Road) bridge is now open to traffic. Shanahan expressed his gratitude to Christensen Brothers Incorporated of Cherokee for completing the project in a timely manner.
