The Cherokee Braves put the defensive clamps on a good South O'Brien team here Saturday night and outscored the visiting Wolverines 32-17 in the second half on the way to a 56-34 non-conference victory. With South O'Brien's leading scorer Adam Paulsen picking up two quick fouls in the opening minutes, the Wolverines were ripe for the picking by an opportunistic Cherokee club, which shot a sizzling 59 percent in the game after sinking 22-34 two-point field goals, and 4-10 three-pointers. ...
