Blaze weighed 7 lbs. 12 oz. and measured 20 1/4 inches long. His grandparents are Amelia (Mia) Hudson of Des Moines, John Hudson of Cherokee, and Dean Jones and Tawnya Lee of St. Joseph, Missouri. He also has several aunts and uncles - Trevor, Phelan, Sierra and Cheyenne Hudson - who welcome him to the family...

DES MOINES - Jacob Pearson of Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn was the lone area wrestler to win his opening match at the Iowa State Wrestling Championships here Wednesday. George Schee, of Primghar, has given $12,500 to equip the 487 rural schools of Mahaska, Marion and Kellogg counties with American flags, 4x6 feet in size. Mr. Schee was a member of the 33rd Iowa regiment, recruited in these three counties.
