Ridge Runner's Rendezvous nears (04/14/11)
The Cherokee Ridge Runner's Spring Rendezvous will be held on April 30 and May 1this year. School Day will be on Friday, April 29. The public is welcome during daylight hours. Camping fees are $15 for primitive, $20 for modern, and range fee is $10. Camp fee includes Saturday Camp Feed (family camp is limited to three meal tickets.) Kids 12 and under are free. Gun regulation passed in Marcus (04/14/11)
MARCUS - Citizens Tom Willems and Mario Carbo addressed the Marcus City Council Monday night about the proposed resolution prohibiting firearms and weapons in and on property either owned, maintained or otherwise occupied by the city of Marcus. Ecofest planned in Cherokee (04/14/11)
The Cherokee Middle School and High School, in cooperation with the City of Cherokee Parks & Recreation Department, are planning a City-wide cleanup of public areas on Thursday, April 21. The Cherokee Parks and Recreation Department has announced the date for their annual Hershey Youth Track and Field Meet.
