Auction items for this year's 'Rock the Block' (08/03/11)
If you have never had a chance to attend Rock the Block this is the year to do so. Saturday Aug. 6, will be the final fundraising event held by the committee of nine moms who are busy organizing for a record-breaking year. Aurelia welcomes troops home (08/03/11)
The town of Aurelia held a "Welcome Home Celebration" at the Aurelia Community Center at 7 p.m. on Friday for several local National Guardsmen, all of whom are members of the 34th Infantry "Red Bull" Division. On Saturday July 16, the Cherokee Swim Team made an early morning trip to Algona to swim a make-up meet on an extremely hot morning against a tough Algona team.
