Grab your dancing shoes and get ready to swing at this year's Cherokee Jazz and Blues Festival. Featured at this year's Jan. 14 Saturday Evening Concert at Western Iowa Tech Community College from 6 p.m. to 9 a.m. will be The Lonny Lynn Orchestra. Aurelia Board hears from architects (12/21/11)
AURELIA - The Aurelia School Board met in a special session Monday evening to hear presentations from three architectural firms regarding proposed renovations to the facility. The renovations all deal with bringing the school facility up to ADA standards, and among the proposed projects discussed were installing an elevator, moving the cafeteria from the basement to a more accessible first floor level, and redesigning the gymnasium, including retractable bleachers to allow more space for activities.. ...
