Meet the sales staff at 'Holzhauer's South' (03/28/12)
The recent expansion of Holzhauer Motors in Cherokee has led to the hiring of additional sales staff at the Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram dealership on Highway 59 South. Drew Goaley was hired as Sales Manager at the southern location. He formerly worked in Omaha at Radio Engineers, an electronics firm dealing with the transportation field, and he said he "spent a lot of time in airplanes and hotels" in his position as a sales representative for the southeastern United States...

Peracetic Acid flows into Storm Lake (03/28/12)
STORM LAKE--Monday evening approximately 5,000 to 10,000 gallons of chiller water containing MicroTox, a peracetic acid, was mistakenly released from Sara Lee Foods. The water flowed across the parking lot and some of it entered the storm sewer intake there and some flowed onto Richland Street and into the storm sewer intake at Richland and Vilas Road. The chiller water then flowed to the large main on Flindt Dr. and through the storm water ponds in Radio Park and discharged into Storm Lake...
