Iowa Jazz Band Championships Tuesday (04/04/12)
The 2012 Iowa Jazz Championship will take place in Des Moines on Tuesday April 10, and three area schools have qualified to take part in the competition this year. County audit report released (04/04/12)
According to Cherokee County Auditor Kris Glienke, Hunzelman, Putzier & Co., PLC on Monday released an annual audit report on Cherokee County. The County had local tax revenue of $18,675,605 for the year ended June 30, 2011, which included $717,195 in tax credits from the state. The County forwarded $13,846,593 of the local tax revenue to the townships, school districts, cities, and other taxing bodies in the County...
