Sanford Museum May Artist of the Month (05/03/12)

Chamber launches new 'It' promotion (05/03/12)
The Cherokee Chamber of Commerce has recently begun a new promotion. "Find It late 'Til 8" is a clever take-off on the Chamber's popular slogan "Find It at Cherokee." For years, Thursday night has been the traditional night for retail stores in Cherokee to stay open late. The Chamber of Commerce feels that in recent years this has not been promoted sufficiently, and as new people come to town they possibly aren't aware that they can shop late on Thursdays right here in Cherokee...

A box was delivered to the Cherokee Public Library last week with bright blue t-shirts and supplies for the summer reading program.
