Chalstrom eyes Koch as WHS Activities Director (07/05/12)
Cherokee School District Superintendent Dr. John Chalstrom is recommending to the Cherokee Board of Education that Scott Koch be named Activities Director at Washington High School for the 2012-2013 school year. Koch has been a teacher and coach in the Cherokee District since 1990. A graduate of Willow High School in Quimby, Koch received his undergraduate degree from Buena Vista College (now University), and his Masters Degree in Education from Southwest Minnesota State...

Cherokee will once again be rockin' with the annual Street Dance on Saturday, July 7 on East Main Street in downtown Cherokee, with gates open at 7 p.m. and the popular, unique band, "The Dweebs" playing until midnight.
