Supervisors discuss County funds (07/09/12)
At their weekly meeting Tuesday, the Cherokee County Board of Supervisors received the Quarterly Revenue Report from Barb Staver of the Sheriff's Department. Staver reported that the Department had deposited $61,285.83 in receipts between April 1 and June 30, 2012, and had withdrawn $49,956.50 during that same quarter, leaving a balance of $11,691.77 for the Department. ...

GALVA - The Alta-Aurelia girls scored three runs in the 7th inning to come back and defeat Ridge View, 9-8, in Class 2A Regional play here on Thursday. The win earned the 16-18 Warriors the right to meet a 22-8 Fort Dodge St. Edmond team at Rogers Park in Fort Dodge in the Regional Semifinals on Friday.
