Costly drought continues (08/10/12)
The record-setting drought and heat plaguing much of the Midwest for several months has decimated many corn fields, threatens much of the soybean harvest, and has proven hazardous for livestock. Many drought- damaged corn fields have already been chopped down for silage, with many more doomed to the same fate.
