Supervisors discuss Mental Health Service changes (09/20/12)
At their weekly meeting Tuesday, the Cherokee County Board of Supervisors met with Community Services Director Lisa Langlitz to discuss State-mandated changes in providing mental health services. The State legislature has said that the state will be divided into regions, and mental health services provided regionally. The legislature has not yet written rules for implementing the new system, however, and that has led to uncertainty among providers throughout the state...
