Supervisors ordered to re-work budget

The State of Iowa Appeals Board met on Monday and reviewed the Cherokee County Budget Appeal, which was the subject of an April 9th Public Hearing at Western Iowa Tech Community College in Cherokee. Funding for Fit for Life Projects announced

The Siouxland Interstate Metropolitan Planning Council recently announced that the Iowa Department of Public Health has approved the City of Cherokee Fit for Life Project scope of work action plan. A total of $9,500 will be awarded to five Cherokee projects, including $2,478 to the Cherokee Community Victory Garden at Western Iowa Tech Community College, $500 to the Cool Kids Camp, $5,400 to the Bridge Trail along with $750 toward the Bed for Trail, and $372 for Cherokee Farmers Market promotion.. ...
