SERGEANT BLUFF - The Cherokee Washington High School girls tipped off their hoops season here on Tuesday against Sergeant Bluff-Luton team, and the local gals gave the larger school all they could handle before the Warriors prevailed, 57-43. Cherokee led after the first quarter, 17-13, but SBL led, 29-25 at the half.
