MARCUS - The Cherokee County Legacy Foundation (CCLF) recently held its annual awards dinner at the Marcus Community Center for the 26 organizations receiving grants for 2014. The county endowment fund program began in 2005, and is financed through a percentage of the commercial gaming tax revenues given to counties which do not have gaming revenues. SIBLEY - The Cherokee girls golf team competed at the Sibley-Ocheydan Invitational on Monday, and the young team posted a team score of 264, which bettered their previous low score by 25 strokes.
