The Cherokee Washington High gymnasium's recent paint job is a superb backdrop for the stunning new Championship Banners now adorning the entire east wall, thanks to the Nate and Dinny Phipps family. Longtime Cherokee Veterinarian Nate died Oct. 27, 2014 and the family recently decided to purchase new Championship Banners with memorial money and family contributions in memory of Nate, his wife Dinny, and their six children, each of whom passed through the hallowed halls of WHS... -
