Katherine Henke and Daniel Martin of Goodwell, Oklahoma announce their engagement and upcoming wedding. The bride-to-be, a 2008 graduate of Cherokee Washington High School, is the daughter of Darwin and Carmen Henke of Cherokee. Following her graduation from WHS, Katherine went on to earn degrees at Norttheast Iowa Community College, in 2010, and Oklahoma Panhandle State University, in 2012. Session is Finished

The 2017 Legislative session finished up early Saturday morning. As many in the media noted, this session saw the most action ever taken in the legislature. There was a lot of debate, and issues that were always voted down in years past finally got a full hearing.
