Summer Reading is far from over, my friends! We may have completed our scheduled events at the Sanford Museum for the summer (thank you, thank you, Sanford Museum, for loaning us your perfect space, your paper towels, and your shiny floor for all our noise and activity!), but we do have more plans up our proverbial sleeves...

CARROLL - The 2017 baseball season came to an end here Saturday for Twin Lakes Conference co-champion Alta-Aurelia in a Class 2A district final game, as host team Kuemper Catholic took a 6-0 lead before A-A could get on the board. Cherokee Swim Team completes regular season (High School Sports ~ 07/19/17)
ALGONA-The Cherokee Swim Team ended their regular season meets by travelling to Algona for a long meet against Conference rivals Algona and Fort Dodge. Algona is usually the top team in the Conference and they had many strong swimmers, although Cherokee did win 18 of the individual events and five of the relay events. PPEL to be on ballot
