Braves drop season opener (High School Sports ~ 08/30/17)
The Cherokee Braves opened up their 2017 football campaign last Friday at home against rival Storm Lake. The veteran Tornados were able to take advantage of turnovers and scored early on their way to a convincing 49-7 victory over the Braves.
